Toxicology
Toxicology is the science of understanding the harmful effects of chemical, biological, and pharmaceutical agents on living systems and the factors that determine the nature, severity, and reversibility of those effects. At Apex Pharmacology Institute (API), our expertise encompasses fundamental and applied principles of toxicology, including dose–response relationships, mechanisms of toxicity, toxicokinetics, target-organ toxicity, acute and chronic toxicity, adverse drug reactions, chemical and environmental toxicology, developmental and reproductive toxicity, genotoxicity, carcinogenicity, immunotoxicity, and principles of risk and safety assessment. We emphasize the relationship between exposure, biological mechanism, susceptibility, and toxicological outcome, providing learners with a strong scientific framework for understanding and evaluating toxicity.
