Apex Pharmacology Institute (API) provides customized new hire training for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and related life-science organizations, helping newly recruited employees develop the foundational knowledge needed to understand the pharmaceutical industry and contribute effectively within their roles. Our programs are designed to bridge differences in educational and professional backgrounds and provide new hires with a practical understanding of how medicines progress from scientific discovery to clinical use.

Training may cover the drug discovery and development process, preclinical development, clinical trial phases, pharmacology and toxicology, pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics (PK/PD), drug metabolism and interactions, regulatory affairs, FDA requirements and approval pathways, Good Laboratory/Clinical/Manufacturing Practices (GLP/GCP/GMP), drug safety and pharmacovigilance, labeling, post-marketing surveillance, and the overall drug product lifecycle. Content can be adapted to the roles of scientists, clinical and regulatory personnel, medical affairs teams, commercial staff, project managers, and other employees who require a working knowledge of pharmaceutical development and regulation.

API works with each organization to develop role-appropriate and company-specific onboarding programs, ranging from focused introductory sessions to comprehensive multi-module training.
