Continuing Education
Apex Pharmacology Institute (API) provides high-quality continuing professional education for healthcare professionals, designed to support lifelong learning, maintain professional competence, and promote evidence-based clinical practice. Our educational activities can support the continuing education needs of physicians (CME), pharmacists and pharmacy technicians (ACPE-accredited CE), nurses (CNE/NCPD), physician associates/assistants (AAPA Category 1 CME), dentists and dental professionals (CDE), optometrists (COPE-approved CE), psychologists, social workers, and other allied health professionals, as appropriate to the educational activity and target audience.
API develops and delivers timely, clinically relevant programs across our areas of expertise, including clinical pharmacology and pharmacotherapy updates, new and emerging therapies, medication safety, pharmacogenomics and precision medicine, drug interactions, toxicology, controlled substances and drugs of abuse, substance use disorders and addiction, pain management, antimicrobial stewardship, drug regulation and regulatory updates, and other emerging issues affecting healthcare practice. Programs may be customized to address identified knowledge or practice gaps within hospitals, health systems, clinics, professional organizations, and other healthcare settings.
While API’s independent continuing education accreditation is currently in development, we collaborate with appropriately accredited continuing education providers to offer activities for which professional CE credit is required. Programs may be delivered on-site, virtually, live, on-demand, or through blended formats, providing healthcare organizations with flexible educational solutions tailored to their workforce, professional requirements, and organizational priorities.
