Apex Pharmacology Institute (API) provides flexible contract teaching solutions for institutions that need high-quality instruction in pharmacology and pharmacology-related disciplines. We can assume responsibility for an entire course, selected modules, individual topics, intensive blocks, laboratory or application sessions, or short-term instructional needs across undergraduate, graduate, professional, certificate, and continuing education programs. Our broad network of experienced educators allows us to match instructional needs with professionals whose expertise aligns with the subject matter, learner level, and goals of the program.

Our contract teaching can cover general and clinical pharmacology, pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics, pharmacogenomics, drug metabolism and transport, toxicology, systems pharmacology, pharmacotherapy, pharmacy calculations, clinical research, clinical trials, drug discovery and development, and other areas within our expertise. Instruction can be integrated into programs in medicine, pharmacy, nursing, dentistry, optometry, physician associate studies, biomedical and pharmaceutical sciences, and other health or life-science disciplines. API educators can work within an institution’s existing syllabus and curriculum or collaborate with faculty to refine learning objectives, instructional materials, active-learning activities, assessments, and course delivery.

Contract teaching arrangements are designed to be scalable and adaptable to institutional needs —whether addressing temporary faculty gaps, expanding teaching capacity, adding specialized expertise, supporting a new program, or establishing a longer-term instructional partnership. Teaching may be delivered on-site, live online, hybrid, or through appropriately designed recorded/asynchronous instruction, depending on the course and institutional requirements.
